Earby Markham is a product of the South and a traditional upbringing.
He has been many things during his life. A kid, a husband, a father, a surfer, a deputy sheriff, an emergency medical tech, a SCUBA instructor, a commercial diver, a police officer, a gunsmith, and a security manager for large national and international corporations as well as a security practitioner providing protective services to families and individuals.
He has spent many years in the armed arenas providing protection for others.
In addition to writing for himself, he is available to consult on equipment, tactics and other topics related to law enforcement, personal security and security operations for other writers.
An avid reader since early childhood and an occasional writer since the 1990's.
